Another odd import mark more recently seen on the Chinese SKS and on the Russian Mosin 91/30 rifles is the FOXTROT IMPORT MARK. This is from Foxtrot Sporting LLC, Skaneateles, New York, 4022 Mill road. It is found as a very tiny import mark located on the left side of a Mosin receiver, more towards the front. On the right side of the rifle is a new stamped serial number. Some had a slightly larger import mark on the barrel. This was on Mosins that both Classic & Cabelas was selling (2018). All were in poor condition. They were rusty and pitted Ukrainian imported Mosins- sort of bottom of the barrel water damaged firearms. old link: http://www.surplusrifleforum.org/viewto ... =19&t=2608
Here is a view of the import mark on the barrel of the Chinese SKSs:

A new mark to add: "GRC MTNSBG WVA 762x25 CROATIA "

Gibbs Rifle Company, Martinsburg, WV.

This was found on a Yugo M57 Tokarev pistol. It is found on the left side on the frame below the slide and positioned in front of the trigger.

Royal Tiger Imports Inc

Their import mark found on the Ethiopian M1 Carbines. It is I O INC MELB FL this is for the new location of RTI in Melbourne Florida. It is my understanding is that Royal Tiger Imports is an offshoot of I.O. from reports the import mark on the Royal Tiger Ethiopian firearms is placed on the barrel not on the receiver. And at least it is not as deep as the Blue sky import mark

The old mark from NC was a dot matrix style import lettering stamped on the SkS barrel that looks like this:
I.O. INC.,MONROE, NC
M 56, 7.62X39, CHINA

Import mark placed on the top of a Breathier rifle barrel. Horrible and a mess.

From what I can tell the import mark reads:
IOINC MELB FL
BERTHIER CAL 8MM FRANCE

INTRAC Arms
Knoxville, TN

opt also seen as

INTRAC KNOX TN
A.C.C.INTL/INTRAC KNOXVILLE TN

INTRAC ARMS INTERNATIONAL INC. Is an early previous importer located in Knoxville, TN. generally marked as: (INTRAC KNOX TN). They imported German used, Bavarian M 1 carbines with a tiny mark on the barrel. They were mostly around in the in the early 1990s and they are marked on the barrel. Imported M1 Garands were marked on the left side or the receiver. Jim Thompson believes these were imported as small lots, in the early or mid 90's. Allegedly from Latin America. Source CMP forum.

I got a notification of this topic via Tapatalk but can't seem to access the forum via Tapatalk. Anyone know why or how to use Tapatalk with the forum?

Not sure if mentioned earlier, but currently Simpsons Ltd and MMB Imports are marks you will find currently. They both import themselves and import for small collectors. As well as PW Arms and Century who buy from Limex. Interordnance who bought direct from Ethiopia. Finally Edelweiss who buys direct from Swiss Exporter or is also the Swiss Exporter, not sure on that one.
