1941 Tula bring back markings

Post by 72 usmc »

For Bade on GB. Documentation of a matching Russian Tula with the location of the Tulla Star maker's marks on the parts. A 1941 Tula bring back showing the markings on all the pistol parts. Matching. One mag, Holster is somewhere, forgot its location in my mess. It came with a holster and another miss-matched star stamped mag with loop. Leather lanyard strap.

link https://www.gunbroker.com/item/908002097

The description:
WW2 Russian TT-33 Tokarev pistol with spare magazine, original holster and capture papers. 1940 dated TT-33 with matching numbers except magazines and hammer mechanism. Original finish turning mostly to patina with cleaned rust speckles and light cleaned pitting. All mechanics work well. Bore shows some frosting Includes two proper Russian mags that look like they have been together for a while. It comes with two copies of the original WW2 bringback papers issued to T/4 Walter Daehn in November of 1945, as well as, the original customs papers…very rare to have one so well documented. Daehn is stamped on the inside of the holster which is now missing its magazine pouch and is in fair condition. Walther Daehn’s was a T/4 in the 943 Ord NDV Company. Probably worth some research.

Amazing. Interesting, that Germans included captured Tokarovs in their weaponary!
