Romanian Tokarev by G. Layman

Post by 72 usmc »

The new issue of Man at Arms for the GUN COLLECTOR Magazine, Vol 43, No.4, August 2021 has an interesting article on Romanian Tokarevs.
See pages 20-21 and 28-29. It is entitled " The Romanian Tokarev by George Layman. He shows close up views of the markings for DGSP, Directorate of Police and General Safety that were issued to the Securitate Directorate for Internal Security forces. There is lots of info about Romanian Toks and a table of Output by Year. You best look closely at those 10-20 Romanian Toks you own.

This issue is out at some of the better book stores. $7.95 It is a must have magazine. Mr Layman's article is worth the news stand price. It is much more economical if one has a subscription to this magazine. It is always a delight when a new issue shows up in the mail box.
