C96 rifle

Post by Pauljbk »

Just got this Mauser c96 rifle at a local auction and really can’t find to much information on it, to me it looks like the stocks are new and not sure if this is real or a reproduction c96. The attached mag for sure is not original. Would appreciate if anyone knows what to look for or a good spot to get some information on this Mauser. This auction in Illinois had over 100 guns from old military to modern hunting and prices were actually pretty low. Thanks

That looks like a real C-96 Broomhandle pistol remanufactured by a company called Fed Ordinance in the late 1980s and early 1990s from cheap (at the time) Chinese import guns
