I am Also a Garand Collector Now

Post by capt14k »

Never intended to become a Garand Collector. Only had the one Post War SA that is all corrected. Then I was offered a HRA cheap that was corrected except for stock and trigger assembly. I happened to have a correct cartouched stock. Trigger assembly I bought on gunbroker. So now that too is all corrected. Then I traded a FN Venezuelan Target for a corrected WWII SA with sling. Finally I won a corrected IHC. By corrected I mean they all have correct parts and cartouched stocks. Only one left is the Winchester. That one won't be easy.

Congratulation. They’re fun to shoot. Collecting also but chasing down all the period correct parts, especially for early years is a full tike effort and not as easy or cheap as it used to be. Enjoy!

Very nice collection of Garands. One of my favorites - they're so fun to shoot.
