Looking for an explanation of AR A2 rear sight markings

I've purchased a carrying handle that was supposed to be a Colt but is marked 3/5 on the drum? Is this correct or some other make?

I don't understand your reply? Are you saying this is correct for a Colt?

Not sure. Ours in the service were not marked with colt markings if I remember correctly.

I think I read somewhere these were made by another manufacturer for Colt? My Colt A2( civilian model) is marked 3/8 on the windage drum, thinking maybe for a M4?
