To old to fight and to old to run, a Jar head will just shoot and be done with you.

STEINEL FACTORY AMMO
Steinel cartridge for fit in the 1935 A barrel. OAL is 1.185 Starline brass with .308 carbine bullet-110 grain weight
RELOADS
My reload with original pulled components with Starline brass OAL 1.180inch, .309 original bullet with a 77 grain weight. This was tested and all go Kaboom. CCI small pistol primers are a little harder than Winchester. They fire off fine, but have less of a primer strike depth than observed on Winchester small pistol primers.

Re: 7.65 French Long.
My next reloads will be with components Tuna recommends: "I have been using the Hornady .309 diameter XTP 90 gr. with 3.5 to 3.8 grs of Unique." I am going to use Winchester small pistol primers. I want to see how the Xtp .309 bullets feed.
labor day update: it seems XTP bullets and small pistol primers are gone, nothing to be found. No ammo, no primers, no bullets for pistols.

Re: 7.65 French Long.
Anyone do some reloads with the new brass?

Re: 7.65 French Long.
72 usmc, I finally settled on the 3.5 gr. Unique, 90 gr HP combo. It is just so very consistent in my 1935S. Right now bullets, primers and of course powder made it hard to get out and enjoy shooting.
