Anyone else own a 1867 Rolling Block in 12.7x44R?

Post by TNGhost »

Just picked one up in military configuration, minus the fact it has been converted to centerfire.

Got myself some .50 Alaskan brass to cut down, Lyman50-70 dies and a Lee .510 sizer and am looking at different bullets mostly muzzleloader .50 cal. Anyone have any suggestions as to a bullet or mold? Looks like just about any bullet made for .50 muzzleloader would work???

I am figuring on using something like the Trapdoor load of 2400, perhaps some black powder.

My first Rolling Block so I am finding it quite interesting

Got pictures of the old girl.....? Love these old guns, I picked up an Egyptian RB recently and I'm considering a Swede.
