Translation
Almost two years ago I got bubba "hunting" G33-40, all matching.
It was very sad day...
Todaj I got G33-40 stock from my local area. The stock SN id 7903 and the rifle is 72xx.
I need to find first front part and the spring.
And there is the question. How deep shoul I clean the parts and the wood?
I like this project however takes me a lot of patiency!

Yes, It's very true. And interestingly, the rifle and the complete wood were found at a distance of 32 km apart. Nearby, 6 km away was during ww2 the command of the 188th Mountain Wehrmacht Division (188. Gebirgsjager DIV). At the end of the war, there were fierce battles with this very German unit. Even both serial numbers are prety close.
